Commitment Policy

• Each family must sign up for ten (10) hours of volunteer duty.
• *NEW for 2024-25* Each family must sign up for two (2) hours of volunteer duty during the annual NSMHA Demolition Derby held the September 7, 2024.
  • NSMHA Demolition Derby is the largest fundraiser of the year for the association.
  • Volunteers will be required both in the preparation leading up to derby as well as on derby day.
• Should ten volunteer hours not be completed by the end of the hockey season (Apr 30), NSMHA reserves the right to retain the commitment bond, less the pro-rated value of volunteer hours already worked ($25.00 per hour worked).
